OVERALL JOB SUMARRY
This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with upper HR management team in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas; payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy & procedure implementation, recruitment/employment, risk assessment, and legal, employment law compliance.CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
o Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary upon the guidance of upper management team.
o Performs payroll/ benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
o Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
o Conducts manpower management of distribution center; monthly report of turnover rate by job functions, categorize by voluntary and involuntary quit, proper management of overtime and breaks.
o Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
o Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
o Maintains human resource information system records and complies reports from the database.
o Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
o Other HR tasks and projects assigned by head of HR department.REQUIREMENTS:
o Effective communication skills (bilingual in Korean and English is required)
o Bachelor degree (HR Management degree is a plus, but not required)
o Minimum of 2~3 years of HR generalist experience
o Substantial knowledge of state and federal labor law
o Intermediate computer skills (excel, PPT, word, outlook)
o Must have a valid driver’s license
o Be able to travel to other states and foreign countriesAnnual Salary: $45,000~$60,000 depending on experiences
