Hello,

I got the chance to learn a web developing skill/certification through my job at an Academy that is training me for 6 months.
I applied for this program because they are training you from Project to Project instead of the quizzes, homework assignments, and exams route that universities take us on. I am also a more hands-on learner, I like to see and do, instead of just read it in a book and talk about it.

Anyway, I hope this chance could give me a higher and more stable income in the future. So I am asking here, is there any skill I should focus on and prepare with the academy or on my own in order to boost my income as an entry-level web developer after 6 months? I want to get the most of what I can from this program.

The Academy guarantees that with the projects, I will finish with a decent size portfolio that I can show to future employers that I have the experience to do certain things that other people do not have.

Please let me know if there is any advice or tips you guys can give me to make the best out of this experience!
