Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for September 2006. There is no retrogression compared to last month.
For people born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions, cut-off dates remain the same as last month for EB1 and EB2 categories (EB1: Current; EB2: March 1st, 2005), and cut-off date for EB3 moved forward 5 months to March 1st, 2002, from October 1st, 2001 in August.
The situation gets better for people born in India too. EB1 became CURRENT; EB2 is still “unavailable;” and EB3 moved to April 15th, 2001 from April 1st, 2001 in August.
