안녕하세요.. 올해 초 H1B Visa로 미국에 와서 이제 어느정도 set up (운전면허,SSN,아파트,자동차)이 되었다고 생각 했습니다. 그런데 어제 car dealer로 부터 제 SSN 으로 credit check를 했더니 다른사람의 credit이 중복되어 나온다고 합니다. 아주 않좋은 credit이요,(몇번 사고도 치고..ㅠ.ㅠ”). 이럴때는 어떻게 해야 하는지요. 선배님들의 조언 부탁 드립니다.

You have to report that to one of the credit reporting instition, such as Equifax or TransUnion. They will trace it and fix it. For the best part, it doesn’t cost you since due to the new law you can ask a free credit report from them.
