    Position: Software Quality Manager
    Job Location: Orange County, CA
    Salary Level: 110K – 150K per Year

    JOB profile
    Manages the quality engineering of the navigation SW-related services, especially Master contents providers & Server Based Routing (mainly Master Contents Providers).
    Communication with customers (HMC/HMA/ KUS/ HAC/ KCI/HATCI), contents provider (HERE etc) and HQ R&D.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    Business Operation (20%)
    • Work with HQ Navigation Business Department, customers (HMC/ HMA/ KMA/ HAC/ KCI/ HATCI) and content providers.
    • Work with the legal team to draft out and amend contracts (MapCare, Soundhound, CPs – HERE, TomTom, EV networks, JD Power, etc).
    • New Service operation setup and settlement (i.g. OTA service, HD Maps).
    Market Research of Master Contents Providers (20%)
    • Work with HQ Navigation Business Department.
    • Research and analyze new technologies, and new multimedia platforms.
    • Explore startup organizations to identify (i.g. Netradyne), Attend industry conferences/meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest market trends of content providers.
    Map Update Service Operation (10%)
    • Manage local release of map updates with the Business Operation Manager, Call Center/ OTA Service manager.
    • VOC/ Survey customer experience with vehicle content and suggest improvements.
    • Manage escalated issues.
    MCP Service Operation & CP quality management (40%)
    • Manage local operations with teammates.
    • Support the specialist to lead all issues and QE test follow-up – Improve the workflow, and escalations and effectively delegate across to related teams.
    • Manage the escalated issues
    SBR Service Operation (10%)
    • Backup of Service Operation manager
    • Manage local operations with teammates.
    • Support the specialist to lead all issues and QE test follow-up – Improve the workflow, and escalations and effectively delegate across to related teams.
    • Manage escalated issues.
    Business development
    • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
    • Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
    • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field / Computer Science major
    • Master’s preferred
    • Over 10 years of experience in the automotive technology industry
    • Experience individuals who have worked in Automotive Tier 1 Suppliers.
    • Experience working with large companies, preferably automotive and/or software manufacturers.
    • Experience in business operation, technology, market research, and marketing
    • Be comfortable with technical & business audiences
    • Experience in Project management
