First of all, congratulations on your success. But I am afraid you are already late for

the student apt at Albany considering the time of the year. Almost all married students send in their

application form to the apt when they apply to Berkeley whether or not they are accepted.

That student apt is such popular. The rent, as far as I know, is about $1200 for brand new two bedroom.

You do not pay for gas & electric, and water, etc. You only pay for the phone bill. Older apts may cost you $ 600~800.

I strongly urge you to send in your application to the school housing office as quick as possible.

I do not think you will get one at this time of the year. But try to put your name on the

waiting list just in case. I believe there are reportedly many people on the waiting list. If you live elsewhere, you may

spend more than $1500 for a decent(actually real bad) two bedroom apt.
