Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, highly analytical, and self-directed Accountant with 6+ years of accounting experience to join our Finance team. In this role, you will hold primary ownership over the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring the utmost integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company’s financial records.
The ideal candidate will operate independently, manage month-end close processes, oversee treasury and cash reconciliations, handle revenue recognition under US GAAP, and verify inventory consistency. Strong business-level communication skills in both English and Korean are required to coordinate effectively with Korea HQ and manage intercompany transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Statements Ownership & Integrity
• Take primary ownership of the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring end-to-end integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial statements and general ledger accounts.

2. Daily Accounting Operations
• Perform hands-on daily accounting operations (AP, AR, cash transactions, vendor invoices, customer billing) in QuickBooks Online.
• Maintain accurate vendor/customer master data and support system transition initiatives.

3. Month-End Close Management
• Independently manage and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

4. Intercompany Accounting & HQ Communication
• Review and verify intercompany transactions between the company and parent entity/affiliates.

5. Revenue Recognition & GAAP Compliance:
• Apply US GAAP (ASC 606) to accurately recognize and record revenue across various sales channels.

6. Inventory Verification & Integrity
• Verify and audit inventory accounting data to ensure inventory integrity and accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting across warehouses.

7. Treasury & Cash Reconciliations
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow monitoring, daily banking activities, and perform routine cash and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of progressive professional accounting experience.
• Required: 3+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Nice to Have: Experience with SAP ERP.
• Plus: Direct experience with system transitions from QuickBooks to SAP.
• Language Skills: Business-level fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written) required for HQ collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606), treasury management, and inventory accounting.
• Proven ability to work independently with high autonomy and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
