DUTIES
. Assure that product meets customer specifications through use of electrical and mechanical skills including hydraulic and pneumatic processes.
. Work with tools from prints, schematics, manuals and computer programs.
. Work with robotic processes and equipment as end-of-arm tooling, assembly fixtures, PLC programming. Performs preventative maintenance and safety checks on production equipment.
. Take action on any unsafe or out-of-compliance issues.
. Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures as required according to policy.
. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required to support the goals and objective of the organization.

Required Qualifications
. Ability to read, write and perform mathematical computations with the aid of calculator
. Knowledge of PLCs and associated electronic technology
. Ability to use computer programs for troubleshooting.
. Knowledge of the plastic injection processes.
. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and pumps and valves
. Ability to set, install, repair and maintain specialized automation equipment.
. Experience with high (480 VAC 3 ph) and low voltage (120VAC 1 ph and 24 VDC) equipment.
. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
. Ability to work with little supervision, complying with all safety procedures

TOOLS UTILIZED
. Computer programs for troubleshooting
. Voltage Ohm Meter (VOM)
. Basic machine shop equipment (vertical knee mill, lathe, band saw)
. MIG welding equipment
