Position : Automation Design Engineer (Mechanical)

[Role & Responsibility]
• Communicate with clients to identify operational pain points and requirements
• Analyze warehouse capacity, throughput, and operational data
• Design automation systems and layouts using technologies such as:
Conveyors, Robotics (AMR/AGV), Shuttle systems, Sorters, AS/RS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems)
• Develop cost estimates for automation proposals
• Review equipment specifications, system capacity, and ensure quality standards
• Support technical coordination during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on schedule, quality, and technical issues
• Prepare technical documentation including approvals, testing, and project completion materials

[Qualifications]
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or automation engineering
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing at least one of the following:
• Conveyor systems, AMR, shuttle, sorter, or warehouse automation systems
• Proficiency in CAD tools (advanced level, drawing creation required)
• Experience in:
– Drawing analysis and system installation
– Commissioning (unit, integrated, and full system testing)
– Technical reviews based on design drawings/specifications
– Client-facing technical discussions and requirement alignment

[Compensation and Benefits]
• Pay: The pay range for this position is $70,000 – $100,000
