Hyundai Power Transformers is currently seeking an experienced IT System Administrator – Specialist to join our IT team.
This position is responsible for a full range of technical support, administer, oversee, and troubleshoot for software applications, desktops, laptops, servers, voice systems, backup solution and storage equipment throughout the enterprise.

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations
• Install, upgrade diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary
• Monitor and maintain assigned applications in their proper operating condition to meet business requirements
• Administer Servers (Active directory, Exchange), Voice, Network, and backup systems
• Analyze root cause of problems and establish the prevention measures
• Perform regular full and incremental backups of all systems and servers
• Research, recommend, develop, test, and implement new hardware, software, technologies, applications to help improve systems
• Maintain company homepage, meeting conference systems, and cloud solutions
• Work on projects, as assigned, to help further the company’s goals
• Other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:
• BS/BA in Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years of experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting relevant technology environments
• Hands on experience with Windows Server 2016 or higher and Exchange 2016 (Active Directory and Group Policy of Server, Configurations of Exchange)
• Virtualization technologies (VMware preferred)
• Knowledge of Windows7, 10 and Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 and general desktop support issues
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)
• Basic understanding of Active Directory concepts and administration
• Knowledge of Cisco network devices and EMC storage devices
• Ability to support a variety of WiFi-enabled devices such as bar-code scanners
• Ability to analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Takes initiative, self-motivated
• Ability to interact with various levels of the organization
• Ability to build credibility and trust within the organization
