    Manager, IT Service Delivery, Ann Arbor, Michigan
    Job Summary:
    This on-site Role will lead engagement with CLIENT Executives, Management and Employees to understand their business objectives and related technology needs and align resources to address all IT requirements. This role will manage the HAEA CLIENT IT Service Delivery Team including employees, partners and contractors and ensure optimal performance. This role will coordinate across HAEA IT teams to support delivery of services to CLIENT. The CLIENT IT Service Delivery Manager will prepare and deliver reports to CLIENT and HAEA management, prepare and execute financial plans, projects and roadmaps.
    The Manager is responsible for overall management, technical and administration activities for the CLIENT business unit that HAEA supports. Provides guidance for planning, directing, and monitoring for network engineering, service desk, server administration, security, storage and operating systems. The Manager also provides consultation and coordination supporting CLIENT business unit Corporate Applications. Plans and recommends modifications or additional equipment to increase the capacity, improve reliability and availability of all systems.
    Essential Functions:
    • Ensure alignment of HAEA IT resources and especially the CLIENT IT Service Delivery Team with CLIENT business objectives and needs.
    • Lead application of technology to effectively enable CLIENT business success
    • Lead, manage and develop the CLIENT IT Service Delivery team
    • Prepare annual IT budget and business action plans and monitor execution
    • Prioritize, assign, and monitor project and operational activities
    • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards in delivering IT Services
    Management and Supervision
    • Ensure that resources are available for client support and projects including HAEA employees, contractors and partners
    • Maintain a resource plan to support CLIENT IT current and future needs
    • Mentor, coach, train and develop team members to increase capability and effectiveness
    • Interfaces with users, troubleshoots problems and provides appropriate solutions
    • Create and maintain technology infrastructure standards, develop policy and procedure
    • Work closely with HAEA management team to effectively resolve issues
    • Carry out the executive summary and procurement process for acquisition of new equipment, software and lease refreshes. Review contracts, get quotes, understand price and terms, develop and maintain vendor relationships
    • Oversee day to day operations and establish priorities for all team members
    • Act as technical lead and/or project manager on projects of small to moderate scope
    • Formulate, forecast, and monitor the budget utilization throughout the year.
    IT Service Delivery
    • Interact with clients and resolve service issues based on support tickets
    • Respond to and complete service requests
    • Manage and support CLIENT applications as assigned and systems (laptops, desktops, workstations, Printers, storage, network, servers, etc.).
    • Responsible to keep computer systems updated with latest operating system and application patches
    • Assist coordination of adds/moves and changes

    Required Skills, Attributes & Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree, IT Management or equivalent work experience
    • 8-10 years’ experience in related IT management position and working in a corporate environment supporting 500+ users
    • IT management experience at an Automotive Design, Research and Development or Technical Center is preferred
    • Advanced skills in:
    o Microsoft Windows Desktop / Windows Server / MS Exchange / Active Directory
    o Network Administration / Engineering
    o Customer Engagement and Vendor Management
    o Project management
    • Excellent technical knowledge of network and computer hardware, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues, hard drive errors, network drive and printer mapping.
    • Knowledge of IT principles and best practices
    • Demonstrated ability to research and learn new technologies and best practices and methods in the IT field
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements.
    • Flexible, organized and able to work effectively with all levels of employees
    • Experience in a matrixed organization with the proven ability to influence people
    • Bilingual (English / Korean) a plus
