Position Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the company’s IT systems and developing roadmaps of future systems and optimizations. Their main duties include managing and developing upon various systems and platforms, managing IT projects and managing various IT vendors.
This position is also responsible for engaging with internal team leaders to align on priorities, define improvement opportunities, and drive the execution of improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the IT Manager will help ensure the company’s IT stability and future development roadmaps. This position reports to the General Manager of IT.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop the company’s IT systems and licenses
• Support in planning IT’s annual budget and develop IT development roadmaps
• Prepare cost benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs
• Collaborate with the business to understand broader business challenges
• Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost service productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in best supporting business operations
• Conduct investigative internal audits and create reports of findings
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
• Manage other duties as required or needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Korean and English bilingual preferred
• 5+ years of IT management experience
• Experience in Logistics and/or Freight Forwarding Operations a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (Windows-based), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
• Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Desire to work successfully in a small team environment
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management
• Proficiency using software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Engage with both internal and external customers and vendors in-person
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
