I'm working at a startup of LLC and unconvinced.

I’ve worked for ~2yrs at a startup, which is LLC. When I signed a contract, they said there is no ‘options’ (share, you know) because it’s LLC. At the same time, they pay little because it’s a startup. I didn’t care in the beginning, but nowadays I’m unconvinced. Is it possible for them to give me shares? or is it just a clever excuse?

스타트업은 두가지입니다. 1. 지분을 주고 급여를 적게 2. 지분을 안주고 급여를 제대로

What’s the decent average payment for startup? I don’t know overall scene.

Just move on. You were hired because they thought you are a cheap labor. Or else they would have given you shares to compensate for the lesser pay.

Should I ask shares before I ‘move on’? I’m quite pissed cuz they haven’t talked about shares…

Its up to your employeer either raise your salary or share any stocks.

If you receive an intrest from a LLC (assuming that the LLC is a partnership for tax purposes), you become a partner and not an employee anymore. Both you and LLC would not want the situation.

어느쪽 스타트업인지는 몰라도… IT쪽 스타트업들은 대부분 페이가 대기업들보다 높을텐데… 베네핏도 엄청 좋고… And before you ask for “shares,” you should consider whether or not this company is worth buying shares for. Not a lot of companies sustain the growth… And if doesn’t, what’s the difference between having shares and having a piece of paper?
