I-140/I-485를 2002년 12에 동시 접수했고 (Vermont),
최근 추가서류 제출 요구가 와서, 세금기록, pay stub, 근무 확인 편지 등을
보냈습니다. Website에 확인하니 10월 26일에 받았다고 나옵니다.
그런데, 아직 허가가 나오지 않고 있습니다. 한달 안에 나오길 기대했는데…
같은 회사에 신청한 다른 사람들은 RFE도 없이 모두 허가가 났던데
저만 이렇게 기다리고 있군요.

Current Status:
On October 26, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

여기서, 365-540일 걸린다는 것은 RFE를 보내고 그렇다는 것은 아니고,
최초 접수일 (RD)에서 부터 그렇다는 것이겠지요.

I got an approval after amost two months later INS received the response.
In other words, they received the response for I-485 RFE on 10/01 and approved it on 11/29/2004, which is almost two months. You will get approval within two weeks.

BTW, it was at California Service Center (CSC)
