Responsibilities and Duties
OVERALL JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager (HRM) provides HR administrative and HR logistics support for the company, works closely with employees and management, administers and keeps records for employee safety, maintains employee benefit plan records and updates to all benefit plan providers, maintains the HRIS system, process payroll, and maintains all electronic and hard copy employee files – all done with the highest level of confidentiality. HRM will be responsible for EEO and regulatory compliance.
CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the business partner between management and employees by handling questions, complaints, conflicts resolution in all employee relation matters.
Maintain and control employment policies & procedures, compensation, employee benefits, and other HR programs.
Administer employee recruiting/exit activities, employee benefits/wage & salary programs, employee recognition, employee referral, and employee wellness programs.
Administer and provide recordkeeping of all safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Update job descriptions and conduct exempt/non-exempt classification.
Maintain the Human Resources Information System on the payroll program.
Perform payroll processing through ADP system and provide payroll report and analysis regularly.
Perform Workers’ Compensation/Safety claims filing and report in support of Distribution Center Manager.
Administer Unemployment Compensation process and documentation and represent company in unemployment compensation/ insurance matters.
Conduct new employee orientations and appropriate employee training programs.
Serve as an office manager to control office supplies and its inventory management, office security control while performing general affair duties and tasks.
Assist employees with general affairs and administrate support
Manage cost analysis in logistics
REQUIREMENTSStrong communication (bilingual in Korean and English required), analytical, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor degree (HR Management degree is a plus, but not required)
Prefer of 1~2 years of HR management experience
Substantial knowledge of State & Federal labor laws
Demonstrated strong proficiency in and use of Computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Be able to travel to other states and foreign countries
