    MSRP: $31,010
    Invoice: $27,948
    Dealer Asking Price: $27,948

I can not emphasize enough on this but I say again “OTD” . It is model closed out season . Honda usually have next year model comes out on September. That’s why they have model close out sale for 2005 model on July and August.
How can they do that? Factory incentive! Honda gives dealership for couple thousand so they can clean their lot.
Just think about it, dude, if you wait couple of month and buy a 2006 model at MSRP ( of course nobody does but I’m just saying that for ex) years later value of the car is differ compare to 2005 model. that’s you should get big discount.

if you don’t do OTD and you are going to buy 새차 처음. There is a great chance sales person will add bunch of service fee , which they don’t even know and you can even pronounce when you sign paper works. They will give you a BOOK to sign and you are going to hyped up and you don’t even know when you getting ripped off.

by the time you come home and find out you paid $500 for etching service and $3000 for ext. warrentee and you will realize they took you a ride.

지난번에 well님께서 OTD(out the door)로 딜을 하는 것이 좋다는 말씀을 하셨는데 저는 반대입니다.

      well well well,

2 main reasons! Although I have some personal preference, that’s not that important.

      1. Easy to compare with other dealership
      2. Minimizing chance of getting ripped off at singing.

Reason #1, you don’t deal with only one dealership, unless your father is a sales person there. What makes hard is usually they want you to come in and take some spins. That’s why they quote you with incredibly good “car price” and later on keep adding “excellent services” not to mention they can get more profit on those optional item installation fees. And those installation fee are differ from dealership to dealership. There are so many ways to get you.

Reason #2, if you know the how much you need to pay before you even go to the dealership since you have done OTD, you know how much you have to pay or you already made casher’s check for the amount you need to pay. In that case, if they ask more then you would know there is something additional.

Well, if your are very sure your sales person are not trying to steal your money, then deal with them whatever way you want. If you do OTD you don’t even care to look the paper since you know what you are paying.
My suggestion is only applied to those who are not sure and try to save few hundreds or few thousands.
