I’m not sure to accept this job offer or not. It could be a good opportunity, but salary is not that good. Probably because of H1B status. My husband’s is also H1B holder, and we’ll get green card in one year.
1. Current job: American company
Salary is little low. no benefit
currently working with H1B visa
Salary will be raised next April (about $2,000)
2. Job offer: Korean branch company
Offered salary: current salary + $4,000 (i’m looking for current salary+ $10,000)
ok benefit
H1B: they will sponsor only paper process. that means, i should pay for filing fee + id fraud fee + and lawyer fee, which is total $4,000. this is not negotiatable.
Plus, we should relocate for this job.
** New employer is far from my house, about 50 miles. My hubby commute 30 miles distance currently and if we move, it will closer to my husband’s work.
I need your advice. If you were me, are you moving to the new job? My hobby said I’d better stay.. what do you think?
