I came to u.s as a H1b status
then lost job and change status to F2
recently company offer me a job (engineering)
and we are going to go H1b petition.

But I red a article here there is visa cap
for that case but I also have a article from the INS
that if once issued H1b past 5 or 6 years
you are not capped against 65,000 per annum.

that was singed by clinton (immigration act something)

Am I wright or wrong?

제가 알기론 처음 H1을 받은 후 6년이 안됬다면 캡의 영향을 받지 않고 다시 H1을 받을 수 있습니다. 단… 기간은 다시 6년이 아니라 최초 6년부터 남은 기간입니다.

Hope who has lost their H1b Status with some reason
with in 6 years don’t worry about visa cap.
