I am here with travel visa and got a job offer.

The attorney is telling me that I’d better wait for 90 days to file H-1b petition and Change of Status. If I don’t want to wait, she will file H-1b petition but not the change of status.

However, other attorney is telling me that H-1b petition is the same as Change of Status. They are using the same form.

Who is right?

Are they two different steps or one step?

So coufusing… Please help!!
