Job Title: Software Engineer (IT ADMIN)
Position Location: West Point, GA
Department: Information Technology
Position Availability: Immediate

Purpose
This position will be will be responsible for conducting requirement
analysis, design and development of IT programs, maintaining interface
programs with customers and partners, enhancing and developing existing
and new EDI, designing/modifying web-applications upon user
requirements, and taking responsibility on all IT aspects of the
business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Able to implement and modify new IT programs
– Conduct data analysis and corrections
– Interface (EDI) enhancement and monitoring
– Maintenance of severs, database, and other IT equipment
– Able to collaborate with customers and vendors, including third-party vendors

Primary Interactions
– Internal – Operations Department, Administration Department
– External – GLOVIS customers and vendors

Qualifications
– 3+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies web development
– 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET, C#.NET, and Visual Studio 2003/2005/2010
– 3+ years of experience with Oracle programming

Minimum Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
– 2+ years of experience on IT projects
– Experience with Javascript, IIS, Object Oriented Design and Development
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Self-starter who can work both independently and within a team in an agile
environment
– Ability to manage all aspects/stages of software development lifecycles
– Technical expertise with Oracle and IIS Applications
– Setup and manage software implementation and maintenance, and data management
