아래 update 을 오늘 멜로 받았습니다. 지금부터 제 케이스가 pending 시작 되었다는 건가요? 참고로 전 EB3, PD: 2005 년 11월, RD: 7월 2일 2007년 입니다. NE-CAL-NE 로 옮겨다닌 케이스이구요.

도대체 뭐가 뭔지…그냥 update인지 궁금해요.

제 경우는 Vermont에서 Texas로 이관 되었을때 이런 메일을 받았습니다.
그리고 인터뷰 요청은 아닙니다.
인터뷰는 보통 National Benefit Center로 이관되었다고 이메일이 오지요.

도대체 몇번을 이관하는지 모르겠습니다. 이제는 도대체 어디로 이관했다는건지도 잘 모르겠습니다.

71.126.189.x 은 “NBC로 이관될때 많이 사용하며, 인터뷰일 확률이 높습니다”라고 했는데 어떤 근거로 그렇게 말씀하시는 건가요…저 역시도 버몬트서 텍사스로 이관되었을때도 같은 문구가 있었습니다…그리고 67.159.163.x 님 말씀처럼 National Benefit Center로 이관될 경우에만 인터뷰가 요청되는 것입니다. 어설픈 지식을 마치 확실한 것처럼 하시는 것도 거짓말입니다…

12-19-2007 – Letter received explaining that to speed up processing case (AOS) was sent to Fairfax, Virginia
01-04-2008 – I-485 Touched .. case is now pending standard processing at the USCIS office
01-04-2008 – EAD Card Production Ordered
01-14-2008 – EAD Card Received
01-24-2008 – I-485 Touched
01-31-2008 – I-485 Card Production Ordered .. so happy right now
01-31-2008 – I-485 Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident
02-05-2008 – Welcome notice received in the mail
02-06-2008 – Touched .. Approval notice sent
02-08-2008 – Green Card received!!

따라서 485 레터에 “speed up processing”이 아닌 “standard processing”이 나왔다 해서 인터뷰받는 것으로 생각하실 필요는 없다가 정답인 것 같습니다. 제가 살펴본 어떤 케이스 중에는 NBC로 이관된 후에도 “speed up processing”으로 인터뷰 없이 승인도인 케이스도 있었습니다….

현상적으로 본 사례들에 따라 결론을 내자면,
1. speed up processing에서 “standard”로 갈 수 있으며 그것은 반드시 노티스됨
2. standard로 바뀌고 난 다음에도 “speed up”으로 갈 수 있으며 심지어 NBC에서도 바뀔 수 있음.
따라서 “pending standard processing”은 특정 사례가 인터뷰에 걸릴 확률이 있어서기 보다는 일반적 진행 상황에 대한 노티스라 생각되어 집니다.

어제부터 의문점이 드는것은 위의 예시에서 마지막 부분이었다..

-> 이것이 무엇인가..결론은 시민권자 배우자케이스였다는 결론이다..가족이민 원래 NBC 화일링한다. 우리의 관심사가 아니다..NBC에서 로컬로 가던 Speed up을 하던 내 알바 아니다..

암튼 결론은 별 의미없는 단순한 서류이동 메시지로부터 무슨의미인지를 찾아내려고 추측하면서 시간 낭비했다는 점이다.
