저도 NIW 준비하려고 하는데, 혹시 추천서나 경력 좀 소개해 주실 수 있을까요?

Here are my qualifications:

experience: over 14yrs (including graduate work)
current position: non-tenure track academic position
academic affiliation: two professional and sigma xi
publication: 15 (by the time I file), over 30 citations
no patents
recommendation letters: 7
three from current and former advisers, two from collaboraors,
two independent (one of them was famous person in the field)
no letter from federal agency such as USDA or NIH

I don’t think my case was that strong even though it’s not that bad. I believe how well you organize the case especially in cover letter is most important. The reason I filed myself, w/o Lawyer, was I don’t think they could understand and represent my research effectively. I spent a lot of time in cover letter. I feel like USCIS got much flexible and more willing to give approval. Thanks again folks and good luck to everybody!

Update:

7-5-06 I-485 approved
7-8-06 green card received (sent on 7-1-06)

재미있는 건 이친구들이 그린 카드를 먼저 보내고 나서 485를 승인했더군요. 절차상의 사소한 실수가 발생한거죠. 저야 상관없지만. 아직 485 승인 레터는 못받았구요. 암튼 이제 끝!!!
