지난달 말에 I-140 그리고 I-485를 학교 변호사를 통해서
EB1B(oustanding professor or researcher)로 신청하였습니다.
근데 2주후에 핑거프린트 하러 오라는 메일을 받았습니다.
그전에 USCIS 에 portpolio등록하고 status를 확인하니 다음과 같은
말이 써있는데 이런걸 볼 때 영주권이 빨리 나온다는 신호인가요? 생각보다 빨리 진행되는 것 같아서요..

485 접수후 배달되는 접수증입니다. 485 접수를 하시는 모든 분들이 이 노티스를 받으시는거구요.
이것은 application이 접수되었다는 영수증 같은 것입니다. 받고 나서 1년을 기다리시는 분도 계시고..
2년을 기다리시는 분들도 계시지요.

접수하고 나면 1달정도 안에 핑거합니다. 그뒤론… 빨리나오는 분들은 2-3개월 늦으면 EB1이나 EB2라도 2-3년 걸립니다. 근데 평균 접수후 6-12달안에 거의 다 받더군요.

영주권을 평균 접수후 6~12달안에 받는 다는 말씀이신가요?

언제 받을지는 아무도 모릅니다. 단지 1순위이니 평균적으로 빠르다는 것 밖엔.. 1순위도 1년넘어 기다리시는 분들 많습니다.
