    Earned invome Credit( EIC) 관련 질문입니다.

    was your home and spouse’s if filing a joint return, in the United Sates for more than half of 2007?

    2006년 12월부터 2007년9월까지 9개월간 B1 비자로 체류하다가 비자만기일 전에 출국해서 H-1B 스팸핑받고 11월달 입국해서 일을 시작했습니다.B1 + H1B 기간이 183일 이상이지만
    2007년도 H1-B로 체크받은 기간은 2달도 채 안되거든요.H4남편은 2007년 11월달에 첫 미국입국이였구요.

    이럴경우 위의 질문에 “YES” 가요 아니면 “NO” 인가요 ?
    혼돈 스럽네요. 고수님들 가르침 부탁드려요 …

      Please read posting #13214 first to see whether you are qualified for EIC or not.

      죄송해요… 1040 EZ 작성중인데요.. “whether you are qualified for EIC or not” 를 판단하기 위한 물음이거든요.

      Article was from IRS website and saying that you must be resident alien or citizen. It does not mean that you are qualified for filing 1040, but you must be a resident alien or citizen to be qualified.
