Job Description
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including;
Month and end-year process
Accounts payable and receivable
Cash receipts
General ledger
Payroll and utilizes
Treasury, budgeting
Cash forecasting
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Capital assets reconciliations
Prepare tax payments
Estimate and track tax returns
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
Prepare financial reports for stockholders, creditors, regulatory agencies, and tax authorities
Revie and monitor costs inherent in the business
Financial forecasting and planning
Perform variance analysis
Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll over 25 employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets
