Dear SeoulIV; I am writing this letter to inquire of “The Korean National Police Certificate (KNPC/범죄(수사)경력 회보서). The NVC completed my case review and sent the case to Seoul IV on 9/9/2004.
My question is that “Should I send KNPC as well as OF169?” or “Should I send only OF169 and then process KNPC once I come back to Korea to get interview?” Thank you very much. (9/12/2004)

Dear, Mr. XXX.
Seoul Immigrant visa section has not received your approved petition yet. As soon as we receive it, we will sent notification letter to you.
You can get the Korean Police Certificate in one or two days at the police Station and you may get it after you come back to Korea for visa interview. Please bring translated KNPC & original on interview day.
Please fax OF-169 with your passport copy for visa appointment date to 82-2-397-4501. However please send OF-169 after you receive notification from Seoul Immigrant Visa section .

경찰 신원조회는 요청서를 대사관에 보낸 후 대사관이 경찰청에 직접 의뢰하여 결과를 받는 것이 아닌가요? 영주권신청자가 경찰청과 직접 주고받고 하는 서류가 D아닌 것으로 아는데요!!!!!!!!!
님의 질문과 대사관의 회신 모두가 제가 알고있고, 또 진행중인 절차와 다른것 같아 혼동스럽습니다.

님이 이미 KNPC 신청서를 보내셨고,
Seouliv 가 이미 님의 KNPC 를 처리했다면
예전 방식으로 하시고, 아직 KNPC 가 처리되지
않았다면, 다음을 참고 하십시요.
제가 Seouliv 의 답신은 제가 새로운 방식을 따르라는 군요.
