    Hi all,
(can’t type in korean for some reason now..)

I am in my OPT status, and its gonna be expired on early FEB.
I just got a job offer from a company where i’ve been working since SEP, and have to proceed the visa process.
But what makes me worried is that I do not have a Bachelor’s degree, which is the requirement of H1B as far as I am aware of.
I went to college for 3 years in korea, without completing BFA, and I came to NY and finished 2 yrs of AAS.
Basically I’ve had 5 years of education in college but do not have BFA,(only AAS degree)
on top of that, the major is different. (same ‘design’ foundation though.)
I have 2 years of experience back in korea but i do not have any kind of prove for tax.
in NY, for the OPT period, i’ve been working continuously.

    I’ve talked to one lawyer,
and i was told I have to send all my info for evaluation,
    and its not impossible.

I am not sure if Its possible for me to get H1B,
I am also curios about J1 with my case.

If theres anyone who has any kind of advice, I would really appreciate it.

*Just saw the main article about VISA applying period-quater….~
that makes me more worried, is it too late to apply??

Definitely possible. You do not need tax documents to prove your past experience. 2 yrs, experience, 1 yr. of OPT OPT experience. You have 3 yrs. of education in Korea and 2 yrs of education in the U.S. You should definitely be able to get an evaluation report that says that you have a degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (or related).
