BK Please look at the article below

have you even read what that link is saying.
Hankook has NOT been selected you dumb ass.
Pirelli is still the only supplier for F1 til 2023.

      • 1111 173.***.229.14

yo the title says they have been selected to renew. do you not read any english bro? F1 has not had any partnership with Pirelli in years and they have been constantly looking for different supplier for cost reduction and internal cost saving purposes. you should know better if you are really interested in F1 and automotive industry.

        • bk 209.***.148.66

Formula 1 Renews Exclusive Tire Supply Contract With Pirelli

This is the title you idiot.
And what the F are you talking about FIA not having contracts with Pirelli?
They were the exclusive supplier of F1 since 2011.

FIA extended the supplier contract at the beginning of Abu Dhabi weekend.
And that was friggin 3 weeks ago.
          Check your facts.

          • 1111 173.***.229.14

yes but the article clearly states that hankook is pressuring to get a lead in becoming the sole supplier for F1 and they are aware.
Pirelli has gone through some financial issues, and they also have some capacity issue to support F1, so the next company to challenge that and bring in the award would be the Hankook tire. you need to understand that fact

            • bk 209.***.148.66

PIRELLI IS THE ONLY SUPPLIER UNTIL 2023. THATS THE FACT.

The reason why they were not selected was because FIA was not convinced that Hankook could supply
F1 spec compliant 18 inch tires.

When Hankook made the F1 bid, FIA was considering 2 suppliers to have the teams choose from.
FIA never even considered dropping Pirelli.

            • 1111 173.***.229.14

I don’t think that you were focused on the details of the article there. Hankook was the top candidate F1 was considering however they went with Pirelli. this clearly shows that Hankook is a better company than Pirelli and fit better with F1 vehicle design. I think that we just need to lay back and watch until Hankook takes over the world with best tire consumption for all OEMs

            • bk 209.***.148.66

              No you idiot.

Hankook was under consideration because they were the only company to place a bid on F1 calendar events.
IT IS NOT FIA THAT APPROACHED, HANKOOK APPLIED FOR THE SUPPLIER BID.

Michelin said they would focus on Formula E.
Bridgestone also denied to supply for F1, saying they wanna concentrate on Super GT and Endurance World Championships.

How the f would you say Hankook is a better supplier when they dont even have 18 inch prototypes?
Pirelli already had Hard, Medium, Soft compounds with 18s at Catalunya season testing, which was months ago.

Clearly you know nothing how these events operate.
I dont care if Hankook fits other OEMs, they were simply not ready for F1.

      • 1111 173.***.229.14

yo is you serious? I looked up pirelli’s global revenue number and it is only $5.3 billion. Do you even know the yearly revenue for Hankook tire? please do your research before you start attacking with your nonsense here.

Pirelli has been Formula 1’s sole tire supplier since Bridgestone withdrew after 2010, and its original contract ran through 2019. Bridgestone ruled out a bid for the 2020-2023 supply contract, as did Michelin, though Hankook reportedly contested Pirelli for the spot, though it failed to win

this above here was the actual written report from the article.

all I’m saying is Hankook is right behind pirelli, and is on their way to winning the bid for formula 1. I just don’t see any reasons why
Pirelli would keep the contract through the next term, when Hankook has much better quality rating compare to other competitors
in the tire market. do you even know how many times they have the f1 formula races in the U.S per year? I don’t think that Pirelli will have a chance to compete by 2022

    • bk 174.***.16.207

Why the fuc does number of Granprix in the US matter in tire supplier selection? I visit cota every friggin year you idiot.

Now you changed your words again.
What happened to pirelli never had contracts with FIA?
What happened to pirelli becoming short term contracts and being cut to be replaced by hankook? Lmao ur retarded af.

Bring me a set of F1 spec compliant soft compound in 18inch made by hankook and then talk.
Til then ur statement has Zero accountability.

    • bk 174.***.16.207

Plus, do u even know why i keep bringing up 18inch tires?
Fyi, i do tech analysis after every race weekends, things that can be seen on the surface. Except the ones that are hidden by FIA.

you talking in a condescending tone just makes me laugh
Cuz i know for a fact you dont even know which company
      Owns the current F1.

      • 1111 173.***.229.14

Currently, kumho, and hankook has dual ownership of sponsoring F1. F1 has history of choosing Asian tire companies due to their superior quality data, and the relationship they have with them. the article about Pirelli having contact term with F1 is a media play all around. you do the tech analysis every weekend? lol the nascar race does not run every weekend u idiot. have you ever been to a F1 racing events? jeff Gordon would laugh at you saying, the relationship between F1 and the tire companies. the size of tires does not matter when choosing the tire company from F1. it is all about the relationship, and the back hand deal that goes on, it is beyond political measure that you can’t even imagine what happens. personally, I for myself have been involved in these dealings because I work for the greatest tire company in the world called the hankook tire.

        • bk 209.***.148.66

          LMAO Dafuq.

Kumho and Hankook has nothing to do with F1. It is Liberty Media that has the full ownership you retard.

          I said “RACE WEEKENDS”

That automatically means you dont watch F1.
F1 is only held in Weekends.
          Friday FP1, FP2
          Saturday FP3, Q1 Q2 Q3
          Sunday Race

          Get it?

This idiot doesnt even know 18 inch is about to become the next tech regulation. LMAO
Keep saying your BS to yourself and stop talking to me.

Or study the F1 tech a little and make this conversation a bit more productive retard.

    • bk 209.***.148.66

Oh, to answer your question again,

I been to 4 races this year,
      Marina Bay Street
      Suzuka
      Gilles Villeneuve
      COTA

I assume you dont even know where these venues are. LMFAO

      • 1111 173.***.229.14

        lol bro,

have you ever seen jeff gordon in real life other than TV? do you know what type of tires he prefers? he prefers the 15 inch classic tire made by hankook Kinergy ST Touring Tire H735 – 185/75R14 89T.

so if you do the analysis on the race weekends, I assume you do one once every 2 years? because F1 race is held every two years
in case you did not know. NASCAR is the one that is held on the weekends during the summer time a lot more often.
just don’t even try to deny the fact that Hankook has the best tire in the world. do you know how I can prove it to you?
the data sheet with plus and minus tech data shows that their psi variation vs speed performance shows the -2 radiation when the
average major tire companies have + or – 5 percent on their varation.

I talk through the facts not just BS. oh and about the F1 race. I hope to see you there on their next one I assume that if you are that
expert on tires and F1 you would attend the next one just as I attend all their races and do my research for my company.

        • bk 209.***.148.66

jesus christ can you stop talking to me and visit your psychiatrist already?

F1 Race is held every two years??????????????????????????????? LMFAO

There were 21 races this year.

And there will be 21 races next year at the exact same venues.

COTA held its F1 Grand prix straight from 2012 ~ 2018 you brainlessfuck.

Im done talking to sociopaths like you. done.

          • 1111 173.***.229.14

I never asked about how many races are there you retard
my whole point is that F1 is controlled by big companies as the stock market, and having 21 races are not final at all either.
are you the chariman ? do yo decide how many races are going to be there? do you have the history? or know the history?
you just say that shit based on google search and shit you think I do not know? I don’t do google but I’m heavily invovled, and is really interested in races that F1 runs every year so I attend them. I don’t think you are giving your facts to the right person

            • bk 209.***.148.66

              youre retarded af.

2019 F1 Calendar has been announced for months.
And is confirmed to host 21 races.

I know for a fact you dont attend F1 races. Otherwise you would have known the term “Race Weekends”
              and F1 Calendar schedule.

You say youre heavily involved but you didnt know FIA is regulating 18 inch tires? LOL

Okay heavily involved sociopath, then tell me why FIA is trying to delete MGU-H from PU regulation from 2021.
If you cant, you dont watch F1, period.

            • 1111 173.***.229.14

is you talking about PU regulation for the variation? of course I know why they are trying to delete its because of the excessive heat created during racing that could cause some dangerous issues within the exhaust and the engine. why do you even ask me this simple question anyway? exhaust gases can always be converted into the electric energy no matter how excessive heat it creates inside the engine. so in other words, if they remove the MGU-H , they are in trouble because there is no plate or fender that can stop from the excessive heat. please know who you are talking to (hankook engineer) and know what you are talking about especially when you talk about the tehnicial side of the tires

    • bk 209.***.148.66

      No you retard.
MGU-H is a energy extractor from Heat.
      Motor Generated Unit-Heat
Converts heat energy and charges battery and spin the motorshaft connected directly to turbochargers.
Thats why Ferrari has twin battery system, one for MGU-H and the other for MGU-K.

The real reason why they want to delete this function is because MGU-H is one of the most difficult
PU parts to develop, because most Hybrid manufacturers rely on MGU-K only.
In short. stepping away from MGU-H allows more Factory teams to join, such as Porsche or BMW without
spending as much as what Ferrari’s PU budget is.

Why am I even explaining this.

” no plate or fender that can stop from the excessive heat” ????????? LOL

Open wheel designs have superior heat dissipation and has absolutely nothing to do with having fenders. LOL

Sad part is, your just bluffing about all this shit without even knowing what MGU-H is.
Im done giving you free lectures so fuck off.

      • 1111 173.***.229.14

at first I thought you actually knew some stuff about cars engines, etc. now I totally thinking that you are giving BS. I admit that maybe 5 % of what I say is a little exaggerated but you are really googling so much stuff and copying and pasting to let people know you know some shit.. did I mention anything about porches twin battery system? BMW? giving me lectures? lol okay one point you were right about is MGU-H is energy extractor from the heat. but it is also a recovery system that coverts heat into a electrical system. it is that simple. you don’t even have to explain a mountain about this shit. its a heat changing to electric. and the only reason that F1 is trying to remove is due to dangerous cause that it could cause during the process of converting because the wires may be going off variation and also the new technology is developing that is thretnting the development of current MGU-H system.
please know your facts then talk. as I have always said not just you but anyone in the whole world can’t go against a hankook tire engineer bro. 제발 뭘 좀 알고 말해라

        • bk 209.***.148.66

          you brainless fuck.
provide technical information MGU-H is dangerous because of Heat. til then youre just BSing again.

ENERGY EXTRACTOR = ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM

You think these are different terms? LMFAO srsly?

It doesnt fucking matter if you have MGU-H or not, the Heat will always be there created from ICE and Turbochargers.

If Heat was the issue, why the fuck would FIA increase the max RPM by 3000?
Your dumbass argument makes 0 fucking sense.

And I still know for a fact, that you know nothing about cars.
          Good luck googling.
