JOB PROFILE
As a member of the EDM team, the BI Developer will perform BI design, development and
administration as required. Must be well versed in MicroStrategy, Power BI and Tableau and proficient
in data visualization and self-service capabilities. Background should include hands on experience with
Oracle data warehouse structure such as star/snowflake schemas and cubes.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:
Essential Functions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements, develop Business
Intelligence (BI) solution architecture, design dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
• Participate in the planning and execution of overall project testing including, unit, system,
integration, user acceptance load, stress performance, and documentation testing activities.
• Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards
specific to the requested technology.
• Lead the design and implementation of BI software (i.e. MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau),
including integration with required relational databases and big data platform and all associated
processes.
• Collaborate and work with end-users to ensure that data and reports meet their business needs.
• Create custom APIs that allow third-party systems to utilize the product’s functionality and
integrate the product with enterprise portals and applications.
• Design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems, ensuring reports are accurate and upto-date.

REQUIREMENT:
BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with the MicroStrategy design, development and
administration required
• 3+ years’ experience in a self-service business intelligence environment especially in Visual
Insight required
• 3+ years in developing MicroStrategy Dashboards and Mobile platform required
• Experience with MicroStrategy 10.2 desired
• Strong hands on experience with Oracle data warehouse structures such as star/snowflake
schemas and cubes required
• Strong Data Analysis and SQL skills
• Strong Data Warehouse, Data Marts concepts, logical/physical design and development in
Oracle DW / BI environment
• Ability to portray the “best practices and standards” when it comes to self-service BI in Visual
Insight
• Able to leverage all of self-service BI capabilities for MicroStrategy, Power Bi and Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in the Power BI Service (Cloud) suite.
• Strong capabilities in building Data Visualization reporting
• Ability to work directly with a broad range of diverse business units and partners to bring
enterprise based self-service BI solution
• Strong understanding of business analytics reporting and business drivers
• Understands business partner needs, challenges assumptions, and champions efforts within IT
to develop cost effective, innovative self-service solutions that can be leveraged across the
enterprise
• Must have the ability to analyze existing reports and systems and the ability to gather
requirements from customers for self-service BI needs
• Leads in design, development, testing and implementation for self-service BI solutions for the
business
• Must have prior experience to train and prepare end user self-service BI manual
• Must have prior experience in doing demo to the IT and Business users on self-service BI
platform

JOB PROFILE
As a member of the CVA (Customer & VIN Analytics) team, the MDM/Data Warehouse Business Systems
Analyst will perform requirements gathering and system analysis, data analysis, data mapping, logical
data modeling, functional design, and data quality improvements. This individual will be working closely
with end users, ETL developers, Data Modelers / Architects, Report Developers and Functional teams.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:
Essential Functions
• Gather business requirements & interface with clients (40%):
o Review client requests
o Analyze impact to existing applications, if any
o Propose alternative solutions to meet business requirements
o Review proposed solutions with clients and vendors for selection
o Produce finalized requirements document
o Facilitate user acceptance testing
• Design, develop and maintain data warehouse components and processes (35%)
o Produce data modeling and data flow diagrams
o Define database tables and indexes
o Write/modify computer programs
o Write Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) instructions
o Perform quality assurance testing
o Maintain system processing run schedules
o Monitor system performance and fine tune when necessary
o Provide after-hours on-call support
• Provide guidance to fellow DW team members (25%):
o Auto industry knowledge transfer
o Assist with data access design via SQL
o Communicate business rules to developers by interpreting requirements into technical
specifications
o Test developed applications and provide feedback

REQUIREMENT:
Basic Requirements
• BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of proven hands-on experience in the role of a BSA in a Data Warehouse / Informatica
environment
• Sound understanding of Customer MDM and ODS. Understanding of privacy laws is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD is preferred.
• Extensive experience creating, maintaining, and fine-tuning Oracle database objects using Toad
for Oracle 11 or higher
• Strong understanding of data warehousing methodology, data mapping and modeling, ETL,
databases, and Business Intelligence and their processes
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle database, stored procedures and ad-hoc query development
• Strong ability to work with star schema designs and extensive knowledge in building and
designing logical /physical data modelling
• Strong data modeling skills be detail and process oriented
• Strong business analysis experience to capture data and reporting requirements and translating
to technical specs for the enterprise data warehouse
• Extensive experience in data analysis and develop data mapping and functional solution design
documents for ETL developers
• Performs source data model / data analysis, and target CVA data model / data analysis
• Capture business rules and builds physical design document to meet user requirements
• Strong expertise to understand and interpret logical design document and data model diagrams
to understand requirements to build physical design document
• Ability to effectively communicate the functional design to developers and confirm the same
with the business teams
• Ability to effectively document overall business processes and data/information flow. Suggest
and implement process improvement and data collection opportunities. Functional testing of
reports and ETL data auditing
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task
• Must be an initiative taker and possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Possess a collaborative working style and the ability to work independently in a team
environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Automotive industry experience is a plus
