    손님의 연구는, 깨끗한 에너지를 생산하고 에너지를 장기적으로 더욱 지속 가능할 수 있도록 하기위하여 미국 내에서 널리 사용되고 있는 차세대 태양광 인버터 제품을 디자인하고 개발하는데 중점을 두고 있습니다.  그가 관여하고 있는 연구프로젝트는 미국 에너지 분야에 매우 중요하며, 전력 전자공학(power electronics) 및 전력변환(energy conversion) 분야의 포괄적인 기술과 깊은 이해력을 요구합니다. 손님은 프로젝트의 성공을 위한 핵심적인 연구원으로 있으며, 그의 연구는 미국 내 태양 에너지 개발과 에너지의 지속가능성에 독창적인 공헌을 하고 있습니다.

    We helped a power electronics engineer receive CIS Approval of EB2NIW Petition in 1 Months and 15 days without RFE.

    Lately, we helped an engineer obtain an approval of his NIW petition in 46 days.  After our meticulous preparation of his EB2NIW documents, we filed his applications to CIS Texas Service Center.  The EB2NIW application prepared and filed by our law firm on July 25, 2013 was approved by the CIS TSC on September 9, 2013 without a Request for Evidence (RFE).

    The client (case number: S-1500) received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from a U.S. university.  He currently works as a lead power conversion engineer at one of the world’s most distinguished national institutions of electrical and energy research.

Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished).  With the clean and renewable nature, it will play a more and more important part in the energy generation.  Currently, renewable energy is still facing challenges such as energy transfer efficiency, power capacity, cost, etc.  He is working on design and development of next generation solar inverter products, which have been broadly used in the United States to generate clean energy and make the energy more sustainable in a long term.  The projects he is working on are very important to the energy sector of the United States, and require comprehensive techniques and in-depth understanding of the field of power electronics and energy conversion.  He is a key researcher to ensure the success of the projects, and his contribution is also very important for the development of solar energy as well as the energy sustainability of the United States.

    To establish our client’s uniqueness and innovativeness to serve the national interests, we argued that his current position and ongoing projects on design and development of solar inverters, supported by government agencies such as the United States Department of Energy (DOE), rely on his expertise in power electronics and power converters, as well as his intellectual power and past experiences in energy research-related areas.

    The EB2NIW applicants who are outside the United States (e.g. in Korea) do not need a U.S. employer to sponsor a green card application.   The applicant needs to have a U.S. institute provide a ‘Letter of Intent to Offer’ to USCIS to prove that he/she will be offered a research position in his/his field of specialty in the United States after obtaining a green card.
