지난 5월16일, 생소한 지역을 운전하느라고 아이폰으로 구글맵을 잠시 신호대기중에 보다가 딱지를 떼였습니다.

전화한거는 아니지만 아이폰 들고 있는 것만으로 항의할 여지가 없더군요.

제가 알기로는 법원에 출두소환명령이 오고 안가면 벌금청구서가 오는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

지역은 캘리포니아 인글레우드구요.

2달이 지난 지금까지 아무소식이 없어 경찰이 봐준건가 했는데 자세히 살펴보니 8월29일에 인글레우드 법원으로 나오라는 기록이 있네요

문제는 비자가 8월31일까지라서 8월25일에 출국할 계획이거든요.

 

법원출두 날짜를 당기는 신청이 가능한가요? 어디서 어떻게 신청하는건가요?

아니면 법원 가지 말고 바로 납부를 하는게 나을까요? 벌점은 신경안쓰지만 법원에 출두하면 벌금이 낮아질수 있다길래 갈까하는데(하긴 뭐 좋은일도 아닌지라…)

 

법원 교통범칙금 납부 사이트에서 티켓 고지서와 번호판, 개인 면허번호로 검색해 보니 아직 아무 기록이 없다고 나오네요?
