현재 저는 New Jersey의 Fort Lee에서 4개월 정도 직장 생활하고 있읍니다. 근데 저희 회사 본사가 California, Anaheim에 있는데 제가 원하면 Anaheim 이주하여 본사 근무를 할 수 있을 것 같습니다.
개인적으로는 지진이 있는 것 제외하고는 날씨가 이곳 동부 보다는 좋고 운전하기도 편하고 조금은 여유롭게 살 것 같아서 서부로 이주를 고려 중인데 새로운 곳에 이사온지 얼마 되지 않아서 또 이사를 그곳도 동부끝에서 서부끝으로 갈 생각하니 시간적 경제적 비용도 만만치 않을 것 같아서 고민 입니다.
혹시 동부 생활과 서부 생활을 모두 경험 하신 분 계시면 두 곳 생활 특히 안전측면,생활 물가, 주거 환경등에 대한 장단점 및 비교에 대한 조언을 부탁 드립니다.

I have personally never been to New Jersey. But I can help in terms of life in California, particularly Anaheim.
1. Weather – Everyone is in love with California weather. The weather in Anaheim is pretty good. It gets hot in the summer, but it’s not humid. It gets cold in the winter, but it’s not freezing. I think California weather is one of the least extreme in the U.S.
2. Cost of living – I don’t know how expensive New Jersey may be, but Southern California is pretty expensive. Anaheim is less expensive than Los Angeles, but if you want to have an idea of how much apartments would be, go to: http://www.craigslist.org and look up Anaheim. It will give you an idea of how much apartment costs are generally. Gas is really high in California, about $3.29 in Los Angeles. It may be lower in Anaheim, but it’s still pretty high. Utilities would depend on where you live. If you live in older apartments, they usually pay for water, sometimes gas. Electricity depends on how much you use – I paid about $40 a month for electricity.
3. Car – You need a car in Southern California. I’m not sure about the transit system in Anaheim, but from what I’ve seen of Anaheim, you probably need a car to go around town.
4. Amusement – Anaheim is the home of Disneyland! Yay! I think Anaheim is okay in terms of cafes and restaurants, but you’d probably have to go to Costa Mesa (not too far from Anaheim) or other areas (Huntington Beach, Long Beach, even Los Angeles) for more fun. Anaheim also has a really big concert stadium and a baseball stadium.

Anaheim이 백배 좋습니다.

양쪽에 조금씩 있어봤고 지금은 캘리포니아 살고 있습니다.

동양인에게는 동부보다도 서부가 더 좋다고 생각합니다.

뉴저지에서 10 여년을 살다가 지금은 켈리에서 10년째 살고있습니다.
양쪽다 장단이 있지만 3-4년 지난후부터는 그곳에 미련이 자연스럽게 없어지더군요.특히나 날씨 생각하면…..
켈리 추천합니다.
