저는 삼순위 전문직으로 영주권을 진행중이고 485는 2007년 대란때 접수하였습니다. 우선일자는 2004년 4월로 이번에 문호가 오픈되었는데 2010년 음주운전으로 arrest된 기록이 문제가 되었는지 case status에 lacal office로 transfer notice가 떴습니다. 물론 아무일 없기를 바란건 아니지만 막상 이런 notice를 받고보니 걱정이 앞서네요. 물론 음주운전 행위에 대하여 크게 반성하고 있습니다.

 

벌금납부와 교육받고 1년 probation기간 후 법원으로부터 case expunge 한다는 결정문까지 받았습니다. 제 생각에는 인터뷰가 예상되는데 제 경우에도 문제가 될수도 있을까 걱정되는데 조언 주시면 감사하겠습니다.     

Don’t worry too much on this… I had a similar situation, causing to have an interview. You need to prepare a police report, court recordes & orders, including an expungement report. For my case, an IO reviewed all supporing docs I brought and told me I will be fine. Then, my case was transferred from a local office to a TX center and got approved… Good Luck!

At the inteview, I was told that my case is pre-approved. I think that is why my case was trnsferred to TX. Once my PD became current, it took about a one and half months to get approved…

I forgot to mention that my case was initially filed at NSC…
