아리조나에 잡 오퍼를 받고 오퍼레터에 싸인까지 해서 이제 4월에 화일링 들어갈 예정인데요..
물론 wage도 레터에 기재되어 있었고 싸인까지 하긴했지만..
도대체 같은 일을 하는 외국인이 아닌 현지인들은 얼마를 받는지 너무 궁금해서 알아보려 하니 prevailing wage라는게 있더라구요
구글해서 찾아보니 제가 아닌 employer가 확인받는 것처럼 나와있던데 그런가요?
변호사를 통해 확인한다는 야그도 얼핏 들은거 같은데..
피고용인인 제가 미리 확인할 방법은 없는건가요?

Attestation Prevailing Wage Requests for Arizona
Under provisions of the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA), as amended in 1990, employers who want to employ aliens must attest that they will be in compliance with certain labor conditions and pay the prevailing wage or higher for similar jobs in their locality. The Department of Economic Security’s Alien Certification Unit can determine the prevailing wage rate for employers based on the job description on the enclosed Prevailing Wage Request Form.
Specific to wage determination requests for H-1B Labor Condition Applications, the interim final regulations effectuate the Congressional directive by providing a prospective H-1B employer with a choice of alternative ways to obtain the prevailing wage:Use a Davis-Bacon Act or the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act;
use a collective bargaining agreement;
request it from a State Workforce Security Agency (SWA);
obtain it from an independent authoritative source; or
rely on another legitimate source.
If the occupation for which you seek a wage determination uses a wage which has been established by union agreement as identified in #2 above, you need not, according to the regulations, utilize the SWA.If the job is unionized, and you still desire a SWA determination, complete the attached form. Identify that the wage was negotiated through a collective bargaining agreement in item 18, and submit a copy of the negotiated salary schedule.
Employers or their legal representatives may submit a completed form and supplementary information to the Alien Employment Certification (AEC) Prevailing Wage Unit by mail or fax.
