L1비자로 올해 1월에 입국해 일을하고 있습니다. 그런데 회사 변호사가 메일을 보냈더군요.

“A compelling reason to change status to H-1B is the ability to remain without limitation under the H-1B classification.  The ceiling on H-1B status may be lifted indefinitely in yearly increments whenever a labor certification has been pending or approved for more than one year.  In some instances, the ceiling may also be lifted when an I-140 petition has been approved.”

H1-B 바자에 이런 장점이 L-1에는 없다면서 바꾸라네요.
근데 이해할 수 없는건.. 처음 면접볼때도 L-1 H1중에 고르라고 하면서 별차이없고 배우자가 취업을 할 수 있는 잇점이 L1에 있다길래 L1을 선택했습니다.

질문1} H1B로 변경신청을 할까요?
질문2) 미국에서 변경신청하면 얼마나 걸릴까요?
질문3) 변경시 장단범이 뭐가 있을까요?
질문4) 6개월후 영주권 신청하려고 준비중인데 이계획에 어떤게 더 유리할까요?
