Due to the USCIS announcing Bi-specialization of the processes, on April 1, 2006, the sole office accepting I-140/AOS Applications is Nebraska, and thus, the reason we are forced to send the I-140 and AOS forms to that office.

Nebraska will accept and then decide if they will process the I-140 and AOS forms or if they will transfer the files, bot the I-140 and the AOS forms, to the Texas Service Center or whether they will keep the applications.

Once the receipts are issued and sent to he firm, we will be able to know whether the Nebraska offices kept the filings and will be denoted with a receipt commencing with LIN, or whether Texas is processing the applications as the receipt will read, SRC.
