Undergard OPT이후 Master 이후 OPT

    Undergad졸업후 OPT를 1년사용하고 H1b에 지원했으나 답이 없어서 이제 다음 step을 준비중인데요.
    STEM Master로 Grad을 가려합니다. STEM은 OPT가 3년으로 알고 있는데 그럼 Master이후 OPT는 2년이 남는건가요 아니면 renew가 되서 3년인가요?

      새로 시작해서 3년인데 막상 OPT신청해서 STEM으로 연장하면 2년 연장해줘야되는데 1년만 찍혀서 나오더라구요

      STEM 은 평생에 한번만 사용가능.

        According to Homeland Security website, it is twice throughout their academic career.

        — F-1 students with qualifying degrees are now eligible to participate in the STEM OPT extension twice throughout their academic career. However, in order to apply for the STEM OPT extension for a second time, the student must complete a qualifying STEM degree at a higher education level and complete an initial period of regular post-completion OPT.
