SS tax and Medicare tax

    I am working for a company. I asked HR that I need not pay SS tax and medicare tax because I am a graduate student with F1 visa. But he did not know about it. Is there any one who knows how to exempt the taxes before it is withhold?

      일하다가 H1으로 전환을 했는데 OPT동안에는 ss 와 메디케어는 내지 않았습니다. 실제로는 두번인가 떼어가서 돌려 받았고 H1을 받은 뒤에 HR에 다시 떼기 시작하라고 하여 떼어 갔습니다.
