The client company is located in Los Angeles near LAX, California. This organization primarily operates in the Contract Food Services business/industry for airline company within the Eating and Drinking Places sector. This organization has been operating for approximately 35 years with 500+ employee at a single location.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Must follow cooking recipes and food preparation specifications;
•Must comply with hygiene and food safety guidelines;
•Must participate in the preparation of presentations for airline customers;
•Must clean working area before and after food preparation;
•Must maintain an accurate inventory of all items used throughout the cooking process; and
•Must follow orders from supervisors.Job Qualifications:
•Must possess thorough knowledge of cooking and food handling;
•Must have experience with quantity food preparation as well as working in kitchens;
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
•Must be able to lift, bend, and push 30 pounds or more on a daily basis;
•Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time;
•Must be able to work in and out of cold and hot environments;
•Must be able to handle knives and other kitchen tools properly; and
•Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English.
