What to Expect in the Visa Bulletin – as of October 2018

The Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division, Charles Oppenheim, at the Department of State recently provided some insight to the American Immigration Lawyers Association regarding priority dates and immigrant visa availability in the coming months.

EB-1: EB-1 Worldwide, EB-1 China, and EB-1 India should see some forward movement in December, but it remains unclear how far they will advance. They will not return to current this calendar year. Further, EB-1 Worldwide is not expected to return to current in the foreseeable future. Expect a cutoff date to be in place for this category at least through the first half of the fiscal year (ie through March 2019).

앞으로도 더 어려울듯.. 일단 똑똑한 중국/인도인들은 죄다 eb1하기때문에

다음달에 인터뷰 보는데 ….너무 오래 걸리겠네요ㅠ

저희 미국변호사는 내년 2분기, 즉 상반기까지 안 열릴 것이고,

7월부터 열릴 것이라고 합니다. EB1, NIW 에서 다섯손가락 안에 드는 미국변호사이고요,

자기네들 네트워크 통해, 이민국 통해 알아본 거라고 했습니다. DB를 통해 들었나 봅니다.

그렇다면 정말 절망적이네요…

저같은 경우는 3월말 RD 140,485 동시접수했고 아직 140 승인 기다리고 있는데.. 문호 닫힌동안 진행은 되는거죠? 진행이 잘 된다면 인터뷰까지 보고 7월 문호 열릴때까지 기다리면 되는걸까요? 문호가 닫혔다니 자꾸 조바심이 나네요..

전 EB2 를 하려고 서류 준비는 끝냈는데… 덩달아 밀릴 지 걱정되네요.
