I’m a 33 year old Korean man who lives in Seoul now. Two years ago, I got married to a Korean woman with American citizenship.
These days, we’re thinking about going to America. What I want to ask is how hard it is to get a job in America.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and I have worked in the overseas sales department at a small middle sized company for five years.
From what I heard, In America, Accounting is the best major to get a job. Actually, I considered studying Computer Science. However, in terms of the fact that I was really terrible at math when I was in high school. I decided not to study it.
1. I don’t have any background of Accounting. It would be okay if I go to graduate school in order to get a master’s degree in Accounting? I mean you think I can do well in school? I don’t want to be behind.
2.Even though, I have worked in the overseas sales department for five years, I don’t think I’m good at English. How fluently do you think someone has to speak English if they want to get a job in America.
3. When I get a master’s degree, you think I can get a job?
