Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse General Manager to oversee warehouse operations and in-house modification processes at our Covington, Georgia facility. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and value-added modification activities including painting, machining, printing, and packaging.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, logistical, and operational leadership skills, with proven experience managing both traditional warehouse functions and light manufacturing or modification processes. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement on the warehouse floor to ensure accuracy, efficiency, quality, and safety across all operations.
Salary can exceed the posted range DOE with demonstrated experience in logistics, warehouse leadership, and modification/manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of daily warehouse operations, including logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution.
• Direct oversight of in-house modification processes.
• Ensure all modification activities meet company quality standards, customer specifications, production schedules, and safety requirements.
• Act as a hands-on leader, actively engaged in warehouse and modification operations, leading by example rather than managing solely from an office environment.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures while also identifying opportunities to improve or modify SOPs to enhance accuracy, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate workflow between warehouse operations and modification processes to maximize productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
• Basic knowledge of Georgia employment laws, including staff management, disciplinary processes, PIPs, evaluations, and workplace safety.
• Experience managing budgets, operating costs, labor planning, and resource utilization, with the ability to think creatively to solve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards across warehouse and modification areas.
• This position requires travel to California for up to two weeks for training, collaboration with company leadership, and reporting on warehouse and manufacturing/modification performance.
• Minimum 3 years of proven, hands-on leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or modification environment with similar responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively leading staff and collaborating with executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, delegation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve complex operational issues in a timely manner.
