    Hi everyone.

I am going to open my practice in a main strip mall. It is a very busy mall. Usually this mall had a waiting list. It it a better chance to have that space when I talk to the landlord’s realtor directly by myself or should I hire my realtor to talk to their realtor?

Thank you very much in advacnce.

If you have a lot of experience in leasing commercial spaces and real estate deals, you could do it yourself, but if don’t, why not get some help from an expert? And you don’t pay for their service. The landlord pays. So it’s free for you.

Thank you very much for your input. My concern is what if they prefer to have someone without my side-realtor…Because I do not want to lost this space. It is like HAVE TO HAVE. Thank you very much in advance.

Typically the landlord has a listing agent. If you don’t have an agent of your own, the listing agent gets all the fee. If you have one, the fee is shared by the listing agent and your agent. Either case, the landlord pays the same fee. Having an agent who works on your side is your right.
