We are seeking a Bilingual Quality Control Specialist for a Tier 1 KIA/Hyundai supplier of automotive floor carpet. The company has production network of over 50 bases from Asia, America and Europe, and its customer focused mindset ensures the utmost quality of products.

Position Overview:
The Quality Supervisor will work under the general direction of the Quality Manager and be responsible for the overall quality within the Carpet Division. Working with minimal supervision, the Quality Supervisor will assure that the standards are consistently met through production to maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
* Responds to customer complaints, inquiries and audit requirements with appropriate sense of urgency.
* Support product quality and manufacturing failure investigations, define investigational strategy.
* Responsible for assuring product conformance to Customer specifications by Supervising Inspectors.
* Assists Quality Manager and Production Specialists in disposition of non-conforming product
* Assures coordination for in-process testing activities, analysis of inspection results and corrective action when discrepancies are encountered.
* Plans inspection and testing workloads for Inspectors in accordance with overall production schedules to meet manufacturing and economical requirements.
* Participates in evaluation of the manufacturing process through the implementation and maintenance of statistical methods. This includes monitoring, analyzing, and providing product performance feedback to the management, employees and customers as required.
* Review all quality issued standards and instructions both physical and written for clarity and effectiveness. Provide for interpretation and orientation for the Inspectors and production personnel.
* Assure the preparation and maintenance of quality instructional materials and standards such as inspection instructions, sample display boards, gage operational procedures and other methods to provide understanding and application to manufacturing and quality personnel.
* Review all non-conforming products; assisting in disposition of product for re-work, sort or scrap.
* Maintain accurate and up to date inspection and test records as prescribed by the quality control plan and quality policies and procedures.
* Upholds the compliance of Inspectors to follow safety rules and practices
* Assists in quality orientation and training programs for Inspectors.

Requirement
* 3 – 5 years of experience
* Bachelor’s Degree required (Non-major specific)
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Creative problem solving abilities and results oriented.
* Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills.
* ASQC certified as a CMI, CQA, CQE, CRE and/or CQM a plus
* Knowledge of ISO 9000/TS16949 a plus
