I am trying to transfer old VCR tapes to computer (digital file).
I have many my son’s VCR record tapes. I am trying to keep in the computer and watch using DVD player.

I looked at my computer. It had a sound input fire wire connection, but I could not find any video input.

Is there any way, I say best way, to convert old VCR tapes to computer (DVD disk)?

At least you need to buy new video card
which support video capture.
When you buy it, some software will be included,
and you can use it for editing and/or burning.

And you need to choose one method between save on PC or DVD
since format is different, it will be not easy to keep both.

Easiest way to convert VCR to DVD is, using DVD writer.
It looks like DVD player, and you can easily find DVD writer
on any electronic store such as CircuitCity, BestBuy,
CompUSA or from the web.

Before you buy it, please search reviews of that product.

먼저 제작에 관한 전반적인 부분을 말씀 드릴게요..

비용은 님께서 알고 계신 것처럼.. 테이프 한개를 DVD로 변환하는데 $10입니다.
별도의 편집 없이..원본 테이프 그대로를 DVD로 변환하는 가격이구요..
그리고 테이프 개수에 상관없이 쉬핑비는 $10 입니다.
(USPS 기준으로 priority 메일 비용이 $5-7 사이이고 포장 및 핸들링 비용이 포함
되어 있습니다)
만약 테이프 1개를 변환하시기를 원하시면 $20 이 되고.. 5개를 변환하실 경우
$60 이 되는 거죵..

*보내실 테이프는 되도록 박스에 튼튼하게 포장하셔야 해용..
작은 테이프나 갯수가 적을 경우엔 박스를 사용하지 않으셔도 되지만.. 중간에
포장 훼손으로 인한 테이프 손실은 저희 쪽에서 책임 지지 않는다는 거 알아주세

제가 사용하는 장비는 방송용장비정도는 아니지만 나름대로 좋은 장비를 사용하기
때문에
원본 테이프와 같은 화질이 보장되지만 원본의 화질이 좋지 않은 경우..
원본보다 더 좋은 화질을 기대하실 순 없습니당~

그리고 혹시 편집(불필요한 부분 삭제 chapter별로 제목을 넣어 바로가기 만들기
등)작업을 원하시면 편집에 따른 추가비용이 발생하게 되니..사전에 미리 말씀해
