Job Description: Director of Technology Manufacturing
Job Overview
The Director of Technology Manufacturing is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s manufacturing strategy to ensure efficient production processes, quality control, and technological innovation. This position will work closely with multiple departments, including R&D, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Management, to achieve the company’s production goals and maximize profits.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute the company’s manufacturing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Identify new technologies and innovation opportunities within the manufacturing process and drive technological improvements.

Production Management:

Oversee daily production line operations, ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

Monitor production KPIs and develop improvement plans to enhance production process efficiency.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop the manufacturing team, building strong working relationships with employees.

Conduct team performance reviews, provide guidance and support, and promote the team’s professional development.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products comply with company standards and industry regulations, and implement a quality management system.

Lead continuous quality improvement and process optimization projects.

Cost Control:

Monitor and control manufacturing costs, develop budgets, and perform cost analysis. Identify ways to reduce production costs and improve resource utilization.
Cross-departmental Collaboration:

Work with the R&D team to ensure the manufacturability and production needs of new products.

Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimize raw material procurement and inventory management.
Technical Support:

Maintain a proactive approach to industry developments and new technologies, and evaluate technology investment opportunities.

Oversee equipment maintenance and technical support to ensure efficient operation of the production facility.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or a related field.
Work Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing management experience, 3+ years of technical management experience.
Required Skills:
Proficient in manufacturing processes, quality management, and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
