For Staff Accountant
RESPONSIBILITY:
• Maintains and reconciles account ledgers; maintains and enters monthly journal entries, maintains and reconciles bank accounts.
• Analyzes accounts to trace discrepancies and errors
• Develop monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Prepare any extra reports needed to be filed for the company on an annual, monthly, or quarterly basis as needed
• Manage fixed assets including recording depreciation expense
• Run client’s payroll and maintain the payroll record
• Assemble information for year-end accounting audit
• Assist with other projects as neededSKILL:
• General understanding of accounting principles (At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required)
• Experience with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop versions) or other accounting software is required.
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• English/Korean bilingual preferred.

For Accounting Manager (or Sr Accountant)RESPONSIBILITY:
• Supervise the monthly GL close, including establishing monthly close checklist, processing of journal entries and the preparation of a variety of financial reports and analysis.
• Coordinate, review and approve certain internal financial reports.
• Manage the assigned personnel to accomplish functional responsibilities accurately and timely
• Organize and lead bi-weekly tax & accounting seminars for internal education
• Prepare individual & corporation tax reportsSKILL:
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and public accounting processes and controls
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting roles
• CPA preferred
• Experience managing and supervising work for staff a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to self-review
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• Salary: $48,000/year – $60,000/year for Staff Accountant; $78,000/year – $120,000/year for Accounting Manager (or Sr Accountant)
• Paid holidays: 13 days/year (17 days from 2022)
