VSP Georgia, LLC is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented recruiter to support our customers with top candidates of construction and skilled trades that include, but are not limited to, Pipefitters/Plumbers, HVAC Technicians, Mechanical Insulators, and Panel Installers. While building networks and a well-defined candidate pipeline, the recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening candidates to ensure the company’s success with positive candidate experiences and customer feedback.

Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and all applicable sources.
Source and recruit candidates by using databases, job fairs, social media, etc.
Screen candidate resumes and job applications.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

2+ Years of recruitment experience as an in-house recruiter or of a staffing agency.
Associate degree in Human Resources or equivalent certifications and/or licenses.
Ability to conduct different types of interviews: structured, competency-based, stress, etc.
Hands on experience with various selection processes: in-person interviewing, video/phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.
Ability to organize skills assessment centers: in-tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.
Proficient with HR databases: Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
Ability to operate standard office equipment and software that include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Office products, PDF software, computers, phones, copy/print/scan machines.Preferred Skills
Bilingual: Spanish & English / Korean is a plus
