Korean Translator (on-site)/Operation Associate
About the Role
Shinsung E&G is looking for an Interpreter/Translator that can support project activities as they occur. Preferred candidates will have an ability to assist other employees in translator role and have basic knowledge or experience in construction field.
Responsibilities
Listens to or reads, then facilitates communication between two parties by reproducing spoken or written statements from one language to another.
Attends meetings, or conference to mediate discussion or relay ideas and concepts between languages.
Translates documents related to project activities when required.
Facilitate communication between management and other colleagues and other functional areas of the business to understand specialized work and translate them appropriately.
Compose internal and external correspondence and routine communication as needed.
Performs other related duties as directed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Prior administrative support background is preferred
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative, and anticipate needs of the leadership team
Ability to make independent decisions and effectively competing priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required (both verbal and written)
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Bilingual English/ Korean required
