Senior Web Developer 3

Fortinet is looking for an avid LAMP developer to work on critical customer-facing properties within its cloud services division. You will work alongside other experienced engineers to grow feature sets, integrate with other Fortinet properties, and increase value for external and internal customers.

Description:
• Work with other engineers and product managers to design and write frontends for new products, as well as iterate on and add features to existing products
• Help manage deployments of new releases into QA, integration, and production environments
• Write unit and integration tests to squash bugs before they get to production
• Our existing web products are built with PHP and CodeIgniter
• Hands on in bug fixing current products

Job Experience Required:

• You enjoy writing web frontends and helping design products from the ground up
• Knowledge of user experience and UI design fundamentals
• Deep understanding, familiarity, and skill with programming for the web
• Able to write elegant, readable, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Some understanding of DNS and HTTP at the protocol level
• Previous experience with any web framework, e.g. CodeIgniter, Django, Rails, etc
• Prior LAMP experience or equivalent
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Highly motivated and responsible quick learner
• Familiar with system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

Educational Requirement:

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
